Dear Riverside Family,
We want to encourage the entire Riverside Family for recently being recognized by the Yakima Herald as the Reader’s Choice for Best Private School in the Yakima Valley.
While this is a current event, and thank you to those who this year voted for this award, credit must certainly be given to the students, families, faculty and staff, board members, and administrators who for the last 44 years have made up the West Side / Riverside Family. A reputation is not built in a year or two, or maybe even in a couple of decades. It takes time. As we reach the middle of our fourth decade, it is interesting to hear that we are on the verge of welcoming the third generation of students to Riverside!
As we settle into 2017-2018, we are excited about the 375 young people enrolled this year at Riverside. We thank God for continuing to bless the idea of challenging the intellect and educating young people from a Biblical perspective.
Join us as we recognize this award as from the Lord and pray for His continued blessing on the school. Be reminded that “the ultimate goal of Riverside Christian School is to develop students who are prepared, both academically and spiritually, to serve the Lord Jesus Christ through their character and leadership.”
