Cross Country
Three runners have qualified for the WA State Cross Country Meet. On November 3, freshman Isaac Immel, senior Caitlynn Bell and senior Malissa Campbell will be competing for an individual state title. The state meet is run on the Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
Volleyball
The league season is still winding up, but the volleyball team will be traveling to either Wilson Creek or Pateros on Thursday, November 1 to compete in the first round of the District 6 Tournament. A first round win will put them in the district championship game on Saturday, November 3 at Moses Lake High School. With one allocation to state out of District 6, they will have to win that match to compete in the Volleyball State Tournament held in the Sundome on November 8-9.
Soccer
In a loser-out game, Riverside defeated Walla Walla Valley Academy 3-2 in the rain in overtime yesterday afternoon. Riverside now advances to the District 5-6 Championship game next Tuesday in Trout Lake at 3:30. That game will determine the number 1 and number 2 seeds for the District 5,6,7,9 Sub-regional meaning the team advances win or lose.

With two allocations to state from Districts 5,6,7,9, Sub-regional, we would have to win one more game to play in the state tournament in Sumner on November 16-17. The Sub-regional dates, places and times are still to be determined.

Go Crusaders!
