SENIOR ATHLETES PERSON(s) OF HONOR
We began the Person of Honor program last year with the senior class recognizing faculty, staff, and coaches who have impacted their experience at Riverside Christian. A person of honor is someone who you respect and has had a positive impact on your life.
Recently, each senior athlete introduced their Person of Honor and shared the reason for their choice. The students shared individual qualities and attributes of their person. The group’s expressions varied from enhancing artistic skill to receiving warm and gracious smiles on the bus. However, all were in agreement. A person of honor is someone who has shared life with them. They have impacted the thoughts, behaviors, and feelings of the students. It’s encouraging to witness this appreciation from the senior class of 2019.
