Ways to Give

Ways to Give

Your gift to Riverside Christian School provides much-needed support for our programs, partnership in our mission, and an investment in the education of tomorrow’s leaders.

1. Cash Gifts

The most direct and easiest way to provide immediate support for Riverside Christian School is to make a gift by cash or check. Cash or checks may be mailed or delivered in person to:
Calvin Howe, Business Manager, Riverside Christian School, 721 Keys Rd., Yakima, WA 98901

2. Online Giving

You may donate to Riverside Christian School’s General Fund online via credit card or e-check here.

3. Community Partners

Riverside offers opportunities to develop and maintain comprehensive partnerships with corporations and businesses.  We will work directly with your representatives to ensure the creation of a mutually beneficial partnership. Learn more about our RiversideCommunityPartners from Tricia@riversidechristian.net.

4. In-Kind Donations

Riverside appreciates any in-kind donations of goods or services that the school could use to improve school facilities, programs, administration, and education of students or fundraising.

5. Yearly Fundraising Efforts

Riverside produces 3 major fundraising events each year. The school year begins with the Jog-A-Thon in September. This event gives students and parents the opportunity to collect sponsorships based on laps around the track. Often times, students are rewarded just for participation! Then we move right into Poinsettia Sales. Typically, Riverside families sell over 3,500 poinsettias which are delivered the end of November. Lastly, the annual Auction Benefit takes place on the first Saturday evening in March. Families and friends are able to purchase tickets for the evening’s event. The auction is our largest fundraiser. Families are encouraged to donate items.

6. Volunteer

Riverside greatly appreciates volunteer support of our parents, alumni, and friends. Volunteer opportunities exist in various fields including athletics, academics, extracurricular activities, school events and several more. Parents are required to serve 15, 30 or 45 hours per year depending upon the number of students enrolled. More details here.
